do all efforts to bring pressure on govt to reduce price —but do value analysis on trips —find alternatives to reduce petrol consumption, —time to think creative, while anticipating a not likely fall in the price–at least enjoy less pollution, bonus

isro

i recall a momentary association, decades ago,   in design, manufacture of a control desk for isro, in which i had encountered the quality consciousness, skepticism, concern of the senior engineer who came to inspect and approve the item  for shipment.

he was so much committed to an isro’s project to become a success that i had tough time to convince him on the quality, he going into minute details and trying to find out any possible flaws in the item including its good looks apart from its right function in every detail, notwithstanding the good reputation our unit had.

this gave me a good lesson that anything cannot be ignored/taken for granted as far as a engg products are concerned. And i watched isro rising from success to success. and see it with a great pride, having seen only a sample of their technical staff with such high caliber.

happenings are lessons, costly.

for proactive, how i wish good people, who are in majority, take little step forward in social interactions, encourage goodwill and good humor,
--sense in advance what is cooking, and do some preventive
--like to control possible disease some anti vaccination done,
---and nip in the bud the negative trends.
i have seen such initiative from a senior executive in a psu, ie shri Rao C Kasarbada, ceo, ECIL,who used to do very casual conversation with the different section employees and union leaders and
--without their knowing, used to influence the work community with nice mingling, good jokes and helping in their personal problems, and see that by all means the interests of the company are not put to risk
--and he did prevent imminent strike, not by some counseling / moral teaching, but involving into them as a family, and appearing to sail with them.
but he was  sincere to the core, not seeking anything to himself, not fame, popularity, promotion
--his sincerity was touching., he virtually was a god for us to whom one can turn to receive help and solace, without his level /status inhibiting anyone.
on a larger scale, purely from humanitarian angle, such social initiative  may prevent negative things .
i repeat the intention must be one of just help, with 100% sincerity.
Freely venting suppressed emotions, thru this social informal communication among the community probably will cool the people to natural good behavior.

awards

awards are recognition by all on the achievements in life , and the system is most welcome.
but no one can judge the worth without flaw and results in heart burn for missed ones.
Realize the truth that own conscience is the right authority to judge your worth.
Do all efforts to elevate yourself in its estimation, much more than in the eyes of the committee
Awards from world may miss you, but conscience will not miss you if you really deserve.
Let your endeavor be to get the best award from the inside authority, more than from outside .

science technology

1 science technology have to advance much more than the present status --

to be able to build much more safe designs ,much better safety systems, better earth quake/fire resistant buildings and equipment,

to be able to predict calamities much more accurately,

to be able to study the geo systems of water , heat , air, their movements much more closely,

2 need of

more preparedness with better rescue/medical equipment/systems

more willingness and preparedness /organizing/systems to extend help from international agencies and nations

more learning to come out / pass destructive tests---- organized by the universe power for its own reasons,

and

becoming instantly the real gods in human forms to take the victims into bosom helping in everyway
